MISSION

ATHL exists for one reason:
To ensure that physical capacity never becomes the limiting factor in athletic progression.
Skill improves through practice.
Practice only produces progress when the body can sustain the load it demands.

When capacity is insufficient:

fatigue accumulates
technique deteriorates
recovery becomes inconsistent
recurring pain appears
progress slows

ATHL closes the gap between sport demands and physical capacity.

WHY ATHL EXISTS

Most athletes try to improve by practicing more.

But when the body cannot tolerate the load of repeated sessions, practice quality declines.

The issue is rarely effort.
It is load tolerance.

ATHL develops the physical capacity required to:
• sustain repeated training sessions
• maintain technique under fatigue
• recover consistently
• remain durable across seasons

WHO I AM

I’m Albert Piñol (MSc, TES, MAT Cert.), performance coach and exercise science specialist.

As a former professional snowboarder competing internationally, I experienced firsthand how performance ceilings are often physical, not technical.

Injury cycles, fatigue breakdowns, and stalled progression are not random.

They are capacity problems.

For over 20 years, I’ve worked with riders, mountain athletes, and performance teams across Andorra, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, and Spain.

ATHL was built from that experience — grounded in applied exercise science and long-term load management.

MY STORY

As a professional snowboarder competing internationally, I experienced firsthand how performance ceilings are rarely technical.

I trained harder. I practiced more.
But recurring injuries and fatigue patterns kept interrupting progression.

The problem wasn’t effort.
It was load tolerance.

My body could not consistently sustain the physical demands required for high-level performance.

That realization changed everything.

Instead of chasing more skill, I began studying how physical capacity determines progression.
Exercise science, load management, neuromuscular function.

ATHL was built from that transition.
Not as a fitness platform.
But as a system to ensure physical capacity never limits athletic development again.
